Picture 5000

So I took the 5000th picture taken on my camera. So let me tell you about this camera. We got it several years ago. To give you an idea, it is a 4 Mpixle camera. It came with a printer stand that you can't buy refills for anymore. When we bought it the sails person, Bestbuy-duh, said that SD cards were going out. I have replaced the SD card....three times...It has been dropped SO FREAKING MANY times that it should have stopped working long ago. The battery cover is holding on by a thread. It has been IN the Atlantic AND the Pacific oceans. I have taken pictures at 8000ft above sea level with it. It has been stolen and recovered twice. It has been to at least six Anime Conventions that I can think of. I have used it to photo document everything from wiring configurations in digital logic to taking pictures of my white-board at home to turn in as my home work.
The camera? Kodak Easy Share DX6440 with, and this is what keeps it worth while, Scheider - Kreuznach Varioon 33mm-132mm AF 4x Optics (What ever that means).

The picture: We are building a 16 monitor tiled display hooked up to four computers controlled by a host computer. We installed the low level graphics and they make pretty colours.
